Pravasi Shramik Aayog:-

The Pravasi Shramik Aayog (Migrant Workers Commission) has been constituted by Labor Department Notification No. 600-358-2020-A-Sixteen, dated 29 July 2020. The tenure of the commission is 2 years. The commission has a chairman and 2 members. The duty of the Commission is to present necessary recommendations to strengthen the social and economic condition of the migrant workers of the state. Migrant Labour Commission has been constituted in the state to fulfill the following objectives:-

• ❖ Welfare of migrant workers.
• ❖ Creation of employment opportunities for migrant workers.
• ❖ Skill development of migrant workers and their families.
• ❖ Effective implementation of existing labor laws to protect the interests of migrant workers.
• ❖ To provide benefits to migrant workers and their families under the prevailing social security and welfare schemes of the state.
